Removal & Installation

1990 Suzuki Swift GL, 2D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Removal & Installation
  1. Drain transmission fluid. Remove oil pan and oil strainer. See OIL PAN. Clean oil strainer. See Fig 1 .
  2. Install oil strainer to lower valve body. Tighten oil strainer bolts to 44-53 INCH lbs. (5-6 N.m). Reinstall oil pan. Refill transmission fluid. Warm up transmission. Check for fluid level and leakage.
