Transfer Clutch: Disassembly

- Remove the snap ring, and then remove the pressure plate, drive plate and driven plate.
- Using the ST, compress the return spring with a press and remove the snap ring.
Preparation tool:Β
ST: COMPRESSOR SPECIAL TOOL (18762AA001)
- Remove the transfer clutch piston seal.
- Remove the return spring.
- Remove the transfer clutch piston by blowing compressed air through transfer clutch assembly hole.NOTE:
Plug the holes through which the compressed air is not blown.Β
- Remove the ball bearing using the ST1 and ST2.
