Reduction Driven Gear: Installation
2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Installation
- Install the reduction driven gear assembly and spacer oil.
Tightening torque:Β
17 N.m (1.7 kgf-m, 12.5 ft-lb)
- Select the transfer drive gear shim. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>REDUCTION DRIVE GEAR>ADJUSTMENTΒ .
- Install the parking pawl. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>PARKING PAWL>INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Attach the selected transfer drive gear shim to extension case with vaseline.
- Install the transfer driven gear assembly. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>TRANSFER DRIVEN GEAR>INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the transfer clutch assembly. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>TRANSFER CLUTCH>INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the extension case. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>EXTENSION CASE>INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 IMPREZA)>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATIONΒ .
