Reduction Driven Gear: Disassembly

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Disassembly
  1. Flatten the tab of the lock nut.
  2. Using the ST1, ST2 and ST3, counter the rotation of the reduction driven gear assembly, and remove the lock nut.

    Preparation tool:Β 

    ST1: PULLEY WRENCH (18355AA000)

    ST2: PULLEY WRENCH PIN SET (18334AA000)

    ST3: SOCKET WRENCH (35) (499987003)

  3. Remove the ball bearing using the ST1 and ST2.

    ST2: REMOVER (498077300)

  4. Using the ST, remove the parking gear and transfer drive gear.
