Inhibitor Switch: Adjustment
2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Adjustment
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Shift the select lever to "N" range.
- Loosen the two bolts holding the inhibitor switch.
- Insert the ST vertically into the holes of the shifter arm and switch body.
Preparation tool:Β ST: STOPPER PIN (499267300)
- Tighten the two bolts holding the inhibitor switch.
Tightening torque:Β 5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)
- Repeat the inspection of the inhibitor switch. If the inhibitor switch is determined to be "faulty", replace it.
