Airbag Control Module: Installation
2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Installation
- Before installation, inspect the following items and replace any faulty part with a new part.
- Control module is deformed.
- Control module connector is damaged.
- Install the airbag control module.CAUTION:
Do not reuse the bolt and nut.Β
Always replace with the specified new bolts and nuts.Β
Tightening torque:Β
25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
- Install the tray - center UPR.
- Install the panel center LWR.
- Install the console box assembly and the cover assembly - front.
Tightening torque:Β
Console box: 6.5 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.8 ft-lb)
- Install the heater control assembly.
- Install the audio assembly or navigation assembly.
- Install the panel - center UPR.
- Install the grille assembly - CTR ventilation.
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.Β
- For CVT models, after connecting the ground terminal to the battery sensor or connecting the battery negative terminal, place the select lever in the "P" position.Β
