Intake Manifold Assembly: Disassembly

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Disassembly

  1. When the engine coolant (engine side) is drained before removing the intake manifold assembly
    1. Remove the throttle body. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>THROTTLE BODY>REMOVALΒ .
  2. Remove the purge control solenoid valve. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO(HEV))>PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the EGR pipe. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO(HEV))>EGR PIPE>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO(HEV))>MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR>REMOVALΒ .
  5. Remove the engine wiring harness stay (A) and collector cover bracket (B).
