  1. Outline of diagnosis: 

    Signal line of interlock was open-circuited during vehicle driving (at vehicle speed of 5 km/h (3.1 MPH) or more)

    (1 trip detection logic)

    Trouble symptom: 

    Normal driving

    CAUTION:

    Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to  P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION  . 

  1. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the following DTCs using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC . Ref. to P-HEV DRIVE MOTOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    • P-HEV Drive Motor

    When "Either DTC P1CE2-13 or P1CE2-92 is displayed" or "DTC other than above is displayed", go to  A.

    When DTCs related to [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] mentioned above are simultaneously displayed, go to  B.

    When DTCs related to [P-HEV Drive Motor] mentioned above are simultaneously displayed, go to  C.

    Yes: 

    1. Go to  2.
    2. Perform the diagnosis for the simultaneously displayed DTCs.
      NOTE:

      If more than one DTC is simultaneously displayed, perform the diagnosis in the order described in the above. 

    3. Perform the diagnosis for the simultaneously displayed DTCs.
      NOTE:

      If more than one DTC is simultaneously displayed, perform the diagnosis in the order described in the above. 

    No: 

    -

  2. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
    2. Read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is DTC P1CE2-13 or P1CE2-92 displayed?

    NOTE:

    Check feasibility of reproduction. 

    Yes: 

    Go to  3.

    No: 

    Go to  3.

  3. CHECK Inverter cover (INSTALLATION CONDITION)  .
    CAUTION:

    Make sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles during the work. 

    1. Check that the Service plug is disconnected. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>SERVICE PLUG .
    2. Check that Inverter cover of Inverter with converter assembly is installed properly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>INVERTER AND CONVERTER ASSEMBLY .

    Is Inverter cover installed securely?

    Yes: 

    Go to  4.

    No: 

    Securely install Inverter cover.

  4. CHECK Inverter cover  .
    CAUTION:

    Make sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles during the work. 

    Check the connecting condition of interlock of Inverter cover.

    Are there any trace of entering or adhering of dirt or foreign objects that can cause poor mating?

    Yes: 

    Replace Inverter cover.

    No: 

    Replace Inverter with converter assembly. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>INVERTER AND CONVERTER ASSEMBLY .
