Diagnostic procedure:
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for 2 minutes or more.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)> DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE:
If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1 .
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check [Data monitor] of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to see if [Hybrid Battery SOC] is less than 70%. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
- Turn to IG OFF, and wait for 2 minutes or more.
- Connect Electric vehicle charger cable assembly, and charge it for 3 minutes or more.
- Disconnect Electric vehicle charger cable assembly, and wait for 10 seconds or more.
- Read the [Readiness code] of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] using Subaru Select Monitor and check that the concerned self-diagnosis is completed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>ALL READINESS DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) .NOTE:
If the concerned DTC is displayed, the self-diagnosis of the DTC is not complete. Repeat from step 4 .
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTC of [P-HEV Hybrid Powertrain Control] to check that there is no DTC displayed. Ref. to P-HEV HYBRID POWERTRAIN CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)> DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE:
If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
