Electronic Parking Brake System

  1. Start the engine, and operate and release the electronic parking brake a few times with the vehicle at a standstill.
  2. Check if the warning light illuminates or blinks, or DTC is displayed.
    NOTE:

    If the DTC is displayed, perform the diagnosis using "Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)"Β  . Ref. to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS) (HEV)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)Β .

  3. Drive the vehicle at least 10 minutes, and operate and release the electronic parking brake a few times.
    CAUTION:

    Do not drive the vehicle with the warning light illuminated or blinked.Β
