Check Communication Circuit Of Fuel Economy System
- CHECK FUEL ECONOMY DISPLAY OFF MODEΒ

Check that the mode display changes when the MFD (INFO) switch is operated. (Display changes in the following order: cruising distance β average fuel economy β instantaneous fuel economy β continuous driving time β average vehicle speed β blank display)
Is fuel economy displayed?
Yes:Β MFD is normal.
No:Β Go to Β 2.
- CHECK MFDΒ
.
- Remove the MFD.
- Attach the fuel economy display to another vehicle on which the fuel economy display operates normally to check its operation.
Is the fuel economy display correct?
Yes:Β Replace the meter - main assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METERΒ .
No:Β Replace MFD.
