Remote Control Mirror Switch: Inspection

  1. Check the resistance between switch - door mirror terminals.

    Preparation tool:

      18 - 1      		 LEFT Less than 1 Ω
      12 - 18
      16 - 1      		 RIGHT Less than 1 Ω
    • Changeover switch LH

      12 - 21      		 OFF 1 MΩ or more
      12 - 20
      21 - 1      		 DOWN Less than 1 Ω
      12 - 21
      20 - 1      		 UP Less than 1 Ω

      21 - 1      		 LEFT Less than 1 Ω
      12 - 21
      19 - 1      		 RIGHT Less than 1 Ω
  2. Apply battery voltage between the switch - door mirror terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.
    CAUTION:

    When applying battery voltage, do not mix up the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side. 

    Incorrect polarity connection may cause LED damage inside the switch.

  3. Replace the switch - power window main if it is found defective from the inspection result.
