Rear Gate Glass: Removal
2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.Β
- Remove the trim panel - rear gate and the motor assembly - rear wiper. Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>REAR WIPER MOTOR> REMOVAL .
- Remove the roof spoiler. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ROOF SPOILER>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the rear defogger connector.
- Remove the glass - rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass - front window. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>WINDSHIELD GLASS>REMOVALΒ .
