Backup Battery

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Backup Battery
  1. Install the backup battery.

    Preparation tool: 

    TORX® T10

  2. Install the battery cover.

    Tightening torque: 

    0.3 N.m (0.03 kgf-m, 0.2 Ω-lb)

  3. Install the data communication module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE>INSTALLATION>DATA COMMUNICATION MODULE .
  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:

    For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.
