- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor, Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Remove the trim panel - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE TRIM>REMOVAL .
- Remove the garnish assembly - rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR GATE GARNISH>REMOVAL .
- Remove the rearview camera assembly.CAUTION:
Do not drop or apply any impact to the rearview camera because it is a precision equipment.
