Trunk Lid Opener

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Trunk Lid Opener
  1. Remove the cover - handle.
    1. Release the claws, and open the cover.
    2. Remove the screws and release the claws, then detach the cover - handle.

  2. Remove the pull handle - opener.
    1. Remove the nut.
    2. Remove the cable assembly - trunk lid and the cable assembly - fuel from the pull handle - opener.

  3. Remove the trim panel - trunk mat and the spacer - CTR.
  4. Remove the spacer - rear floor front.
    1. Release the clips, and fold back the bottom of the cover COMPL - rear backrest LH and RH of the rear seat back.

    2. Release the clips, then detach the spacer - rear floor front.

  5. Remove the trim panel - trunk side RH and trim panel - trunk lid. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>TRUNK ROOM TRIM>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the lower inner trim. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>LOWER INNER TRIM>REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the cable assembly - trunk lid.
    1. Release the claws, and open the cover of the lock assembly - trunk lid.
    2. Remove the cable assembly - trunk lid from the lock assembly - trunk lid.

    3. Remove the cable clip, and remove the cable assembly - trunk lid.
