Immobilizer System
2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5iSECTION Immobilizer System
- Check that the engine starts with all keys that are equipped on vehicle.
- Check that the security indicator light blinks in 60 seconds after turning the ignition switch from ON to ACC or to OFF, and immediately after removing the key. (Models without the keyless access with push button start)
- Immediately after turning ignition switch from ON to OFF, and immediately after opening/closing a door while the ignition switch is in ON or ACC with the engine stopped and the access key is outside the vehicle, check that the security indicator light is blinking.
