Oil Pump: Removal

2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5iSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the chain cover. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Chain Cover. >
  2. Remove the timing chain assembly. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Timing Chain Assembly. >
  3. Remove the oil pan lower. < Ref. to REMOVALΒ , Oil Pan. >
  4. Remove the stiffener and the oil pump.

  5. Remove the strainer from the oil pump.
  6. Remove the O-ring from oil pan upper.
