Transmission Mounting System: Installation
2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5iSECTION Installation

- Install the rear cushion rubber on the transmission.
Tightening torque:Β
40 N.m (4.1 kgf-m, 29.5 ft-lb)Β
- Install the transmission rear crossmember.
Tightening torque:Β
T1: 35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)Β
T2: 75 N.m (7.6 kgf-m, 55.3 ft-lb)Β
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Install the center exhaust cover.
Tightening torque:Β
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)Β
- Install the front exhaust pipe. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
