Radiator Fan and Fan Motor Assembly: Removal
2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5iSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
- Drain approximately 3.0 L (3.2 US qt, 2.6 Imp qt) of coolant. < Ref. to DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANTΒ , REPLACEMENT, Engine Coolant. >
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the air intake duct. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Air Intake Duct. >
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
- Remove the reservoir tank. < Ref. to REMOVALΒ , Reservoir Tank. >
- Disconnect the connector (A) from the radiator main fan motor and the connector (B) from the radiator sub fan motor.
