Shim Adjustment
2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i, Standard TransSECTION Shim Adjustment
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Detach the stereo camera cover, and remove the stereo camera. < Refer to REMOVAL , Stereo Camera. >
- Remove the stereo camera spacer, and insert the shim into the body and camera spacer.NOTE:
- Inserting the shim (031105000) into the vehicle front side makes camera downward.
- Inserting the shim (031105000) into the vehicle rear side makes camera upward.
- There is a case that the shim may be inserted at the production line, but it is not abnormal.
- Install the stereo camera spacer.
Tightening torque:Β
5.5Β±1.0 N.m (0.56Β±0.10 kgf-m, 4.1Β±0.7 ft-lb)Β
- Install the stereo camera. < Refer to REMOVAL , Stereo Camera. >
- Perform the camera all adjustment mode (replacement/removal). < Refer to CAMERA ALL ADJUSTMENT MODE (REPLACEMENT/REMOVAL)Β , PROCEDURE, Camera Adjustment, Inspection. >
