System Operation Check Mode: Operation

2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i, Standard TransSECTION Operation
  1. On «Main Menu» display, select {Each System Check}.
  2. On «System Selection Menu» display, select {Keyless access system}.
  3. On «Keyless access system» display, select {Work Support}.
  4. Select {System Operation Check Mode}.
  5. Select the check point and click [OK].
  6. Select [Exit] to exit the drive item mode. The screen will return to the «Drive item» screen.
NOTE:
  • Each output check continues to run for five seconds before stopping automatically.
  • The voltage will stabilize at about 3 mV when the voltage is measured using tester during output.

Tuner power supply ON (indoor tuner) Output Perform check of the power supply for the receiver.

Driver's external transmitter Output Perform driver's side door outside antenna output check.

Passenger's external transmitter Output Perform passenger's side door outside antenna output check.

STSW Output Turn on the STSW.(2)

IGN2 Output Turn on the IGN2.

IGN1 Output Turn on the IGN1.
Stop
ACC Output Turn on the ACC.

Start SW character illumination lighted Output Perform ON output of the push button ignition switch back-up light.(1)

Start SW indicator lighted (green) Output Perform ON output of the push button ignition switch back-up light.(1)

Start SW indicator lighted (orange) Output Perform ON output of the push button ignition switch back-up light.(1)

Steering lock power supply Output Output power supply signal from power supply CM to steering lock CM.

(1) When lit by a condition other than for a system operation check mode, it will not become unlit even when set to OFF or no output.
(2) When performed with ignition switch ON, engine will start. Therefore, great care must be exercised.
