Converter Case: Assembly

2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Assembly
  1. Install the oil drain plug.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    70 N.m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb)Β 

  2. Install the overflow drain plug.
    NOTE: Overflow plug of differential gear oil is temporarily attached.
  3. Install all plugs.
    NOTE: Use new O-rings.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    T1: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)Β 

    T2: 25.5 N.m (2.6 kgf-m, 18.8 ft-lb)Β

  4. Install the transmission hanger and transmission radio ground cord.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    41 N.m (4.2 kgf-m, 30.2 ft-lb)Β
