  1. The sound pressure or tone of the pedestrian alert system may change in the following cases:
    • When the vehicle is parked under the scorching sun or in snow-covered areas for a prolonged time. (Over time, the symptom is recovered.)
    • When pedestrian alert speaker is directly subject to high-pressure water sprayer from under the vehicle.
    • When front of pedestrian alert speaker is covered with foreign matters such as mud, snow, or ice.
    • When whole of pedestrian alert speaker is frozen.
  2. Warning sound may be difficult to be heard in the following cases:
    • When the ambient noise is too loud. (In the very crowded crossing or when emergency vehicle is approaching.)
    • When there is a person at the rear of the vehicle, he or she cannot hear the warning sound.
