Converter Case Cover: Installation

- Clean the mating surface of converter case cover and converter case.
- Adjust the shims of front reduction drive gear and front reduction driven gear. < Ref. to ADJUSTMENTΒ , Front Reduction Drive Gear. > < Ref. to ADJUSTMENTΒ , Front Reduction Driven Gear. >
- Apply CVTF to the selected shims and install on the bearing catch surface of the front reduction driven gear.
- Using the ST, install the ball bearing to the converter case cover.NOTE: Use a new ball bearing.
ST 499755602 PRESS SNAP RING
- Install the O-ring.NOTE:
- Use new O-rings.
- Apply CVTF to the O-ring.
