Transmission Control Device: Installation

- Install the parking support.
Tightening torque:Β
25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)Β
- Install the extension case. < Ref. to INSTALLATIONΒ , Extension Case. >
- Install the manual valve.
- Install the shifter arm shaft and bolt.NOTE: Do not damage the lip of oil seal press-fitted in the case.
Tightening torque:Β
7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)Β
- Install the parking rod to the manual plate.
- Insert the parking rod into the transmission case, and install the shift connecting rod of the manual valve to the manual plate.
- Install the manual plate to the shifter arm shaft.
- Install the detent spring to the transmission case.
Tightening torque:Β
7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)Β
- Install the spring pin.NOTE: Use new spring pin.
