Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal

2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i, Eng CD FB25BA, Standard TransSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the clip (A), lift the front of the collector cover in the direction of arrow, and then remove the collector cover.

  2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  3. Remove the intercooler. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Intercooler. >
  4. Remove the throttle body. < Ref. to REMOVALΒ , Throttle Body. >
  5. Remove the bolts securing the engine harness.

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) from the crankshaft position sensor, and remove the crankshaft position sensor from the cylinder block.
