2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i, Eng CD FB25BA, Standard TransSECTION Non-Turbo Model
  1. Remove the V-belt covers.

  2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  3. Remove the V-belts. < Ref. to V-BELT , REMOVAL, V-belt. >
  4. Remove the V-belt cover bracket.

  5. Disconnect the connector (A) and terminal (B) from the generator.

  6. Remove the generator from the generator bracket.

  7. Remove the V-belt tensioner from the generator bracket. < Ref. to V-BELT TENSIONER ASSY , REMOVAL, V-belt. >
  8. Remove the generator cord stay from the generator bracket.

  9. Remove the generator bracket from the engine.
