Trunk Lid Lock Assembly: Inspection

- Disconnect the trunk lid actuator harness connector.
- Connect the battery to the trunk lid actuator terminals.TERMINALS AND ACTUATOR OPERATION REFERENCE
Terminal No. Actuator operation No. 2 (+) and No. 1 (-) Lock β Unlock If defective, replace the trunk lid actuator.
- Check the striker for deformation or abnormal wear.
- Check the safety lever for improper movement.
- Check other levers and springs for rust formation or unsmooth movement.
- Check the cable of the trunk opener for smooth operation.
