Cooling System (H4SO): Radiator: Installation
2005 Subaru Outback i, StandardSECTION Installation
- Attach the radiator lower cushions to holes on the radiator lower bracket.
- Install the radiator to vehicle.NOTE: Make pins on the lower side of radiator be fitted into the radiator lower cushions on body side.
- Install the radiator upper brackets and tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque: 12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.9 ft-lb)Β
- Connect the radiator inlet hose.
- Install the air intake duct. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Duct. >
- Install the hood stay holder.
- Install the reservoir tank. < Ref. to , INSTALLATIONΒ , Reservoir Tank. >
- Connect the over flow hose.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Connect the ATF cooler hoses. (AT model)
- Connect the radiator outlet hose.
- Connect the connector (A) to radiator main fan motor and connector (B) to sub fan motor.
