Fuel Pump: Installation

2005 Subaru Outback i, StandardSECTION Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Use a new gasket.
  1. Ensure the sealing portion is free from fuel or foreign particles before installation.
  2. Tighten the nuts to specified torque in the order as shown in Fig 1 .

Tightening torque:Β 

4.4 N.m (0.45 kgf-m, 3.2 ft-lb)Β
