Throttle Body: Removal
2004 Subaru Outback Base, 4D Wagon, EJ251, StandardSECTION Removal
- Disconnect ground cable from battery.
- Remove air cleaner case. Refer to REMOVAL , Air Cleaner.
- Disconnect accelerator cable (A).
- Disconnect cruise control cable (B). (With cruise control model)
- Disconnect connectors from idle air control solenoid valve, throttle position sensor and pressure sensor.
- Disconnect air by-pass hose from throttle body.
- Disconnect engine coolant hoses (A) from throttle body.
- Remove bolts (B) which install throttle body to intake manifold.
