Front Differential Assembly: Installation
2004 Subaru Baja Base, StandardSECTION Installation
- Install the differential side retainers using ST.
ST 499787000 WRENCH ASSY
- Install the bearing outer race to transmission case.
- Install the differential assembly.NOTE:
- Be careful not to fold the sealing lip of oil seal.
- Wrap the right and left spline sections of axle shaft with vinyl tape to prevent scratches.
