Clutch Switch: Service and Repair

2002 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon AWD F4-2.5L SOHCSECTION Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect connector from clutch switch.
3. Remove clutch switch.

INSTALLATION





1. Move clevis pin of the push rod right and left and hold where it moves smoothly, then measure stroke of clutch pedal.
Specified clutch pedal full stroke: A
130 - 135 mm (5.12 - 5.31 inch)
Tightening torque:
T: 8 Nm (0.8 kgf-cm, 5.8 ft. lbs.)
2. If clutch pedal stroke is out of specification, adjust the stroke.
3. Connect clutch switch connector.
