Three drive cycle procedures are provided for Forester, Legacy and Outback models only. These procedures are used to confirm repair procedure has addressed fault and DTC is no longer present on those DTCs that require extended operation to meet the parameters required to set the code. Some DTCs on Forester, Legacy and Outback models require performing this procedure twice to ensure DTC does not reset.

When to See a Mechanic
