Fuel Filler Pipe: Removal
2002 Subaru Forester BaseSECTION Removal
- Set the vehicle on the lift.
- Drain fuel from fuel tank. Refer to DRAINING OF FUELΒ .
- Remove screws which install fuel filler pipe on filler lid .
- Remove wheel nuts of rear right side.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Remove rear right side wheel.
- Remove bolts which install protector cover on body.
- While releasing the under side of protector cover from hook, remove it.
- Disconnect evaporation hoses from pipes.
- Lift-up the vehicle more.
- Remove two evaporation hoses from clip.
- Disconnect evaporation hose from joint pipe.
- Loosen clamp, and disconnect fuel filler hose from fuel filler pipe.
- Remove fuel filler pipe to under side of vehicle.
