Select Lever: Disassembly
2001 Subaru Legacy GT Limited, AutomaticSECTION Disassembly
- Remove four washers and then detach rubber boot.
- Remove bolts and then remove cable bracket and plate.
- Twist the select lever grip and then remove select lever grip.
- Detach indicator cover.
- Disconnect connector and then remove solenoid assembly.
- Remove pattern plate.
- Remove stopper.
- Tilt lever forward and pull down to separate it from frame.
- Remove spring.CAUTION: Wear goggles. Do not allow spring to fly out during removal.
- Remove bolt and then disconnect lever upper and lever lower.
