Rocker Arm Assembly: Removal

2000 Subaru Forester L, AutomaticSECTION Removal
CAUTION: Leave bolt No. 1 engaged by 3 or 4 threads to prevent rocker arm assembly from falling.

Disconnect PCV hose, and remove rocker cover. Remove rocker shaft bolts No. 1-4 in order. See Figure. Equally loosen and remove bolts No. 5-8 in order. Remove rocker arm assembly. Disassemble rocker arm assembly, arranging components in order for reassembly reference.
