- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Start engine. Turn on cruise control main switch. Using Subaru Select Monitor (24082AA010), select ALL SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS mode.NOTE: DTC is also shown in EACH SYSTEM CHECK mode display.
- Drive vehicle at speed of at least 40 MPH with cruise speed set. If cruise speed cancels by itself (not by driver), DTC will appear on scan tool display. DO NOT confuse this DTC with DTC that was set when driver cancelled cruise operation. See DTC IDENTIFICATIONΒ table. Diagnose using appropriate DTC test. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTSΒ .
