Airflow Meter
MPFI system employs a "Hot-Wire" type airflow meter. This airflow meter converts amount of air taken into engine into an electric signal by utilizing heat transfer between incoming air and a heating resistor (hot wire), located in air intake.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
