Function Modes: Notes
The self-diagnosis function has 4 modes: "U" check mode, read memory mode, "D" check mode and clear memory mode. Two connectors (read memory and test mode) and two lamps (ECS and oxygen monitor) are used. The connectors are for mode selection and the lamps monitor the type of problem.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
