The ECM of the ECC system is equipped with a self-diagnostic function. When trouble occurs, the ECS (Electronic Control System) lamp is illuminated and the trouble code is displayed on the O2 monitor lamp in code. See Fig 1 .

NOTE: Trouble codes are displayed repeatedly. When multiple problems have occurred, all trouble codes are displayed repeatedly in numerical order.

When to See a Mechanic
