Installation [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
- Pass the transmission control cable assembly into the vehicle and install the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
- Install the transmission control cable assembly to the rear engine mounting insulator with the bolt.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
- Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control cable bracket assembly with 2 new clips (B).
- Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the manual transaxle assembly with the 2 clips (A).
- Turn the nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the nut in that position, push in the stopper until it makes 2 "click" sounds.
*a Nut *b Stopper *c Turn *d Push - Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the floor shift lever assembly, check that the position of the spring is the same as (A) shown in the illustration and push in the stopper.
HINT:
If the stopper cannot be pushed in, slightly turn the nut clockwise and then push in the stopper.
*1 Floor Shift Lever Assembly *a Nut *b Stopper *c Spring *d Push - Connect the transmission control shift cable to the floor shift lever assembly.
- Push the 2 claws together at the top of the lock piece. While holding the 2 claws together, push the 2 lugs on the bottom of the lock piece toward each other and upward to push out the lock piece.
*a Bottom View *b Push *c Push Out *d Lock Piece - Hook the outer select lever of the manual transaxle assembly to the reverse restrict pin assembly to secure it.
*1 Outer Select Lever *2 Reverse Restrict Pin Assembly *a Secured - Push the slider shaft until it contacts the cam wall.
*a Slider Shaft *b Cam Wall NOTE:- Do not pull up the slider shaft.
- When adjusting the transmission control cable assembly, make sure that the shift lever is not in the 1st or 2nd gear position.
- Connect the transmission control select cable to the floor shift lever assembly with the clip.
*a Transmission Control Select Cable *b Lock Piece NOTE:- Make sure that the lock piece is protruding from the adjuster case.
- When adjusting the transmission control cable assembly, make sure that the shift lever is not in the 1st or 2nd gear position.
- Push in the lock piece into the adjuster case.NOTE:
Securely push in the lock piece until the lock is engaged.
- Move the shift lever to R, so that the outer select lever can be released.

- Pass the transmission control cable assembly into the vehicle and install the transmission control cable assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.
- INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2015 - ]
- INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
- Install the front No. 1 floor heat insulator to the vehicle body with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Install the front No. 1 floor heat insulator to the vehicle body with the 3 nuts.
- INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL BATTERY

- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

- INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When reconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized.
