Adjustment [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17
- REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

- ADJUST TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control select cable from the floor shift lever assembly.
- Push the 2 claws together at the top of the lock piece. While holding the 2 claws together, push the 2 lugs on the bottom of the lock piece toward each other and upward to push out the lock piece.
*a Bottom View *b Push *c Push Out *d Lock Piece - Hook the outer select lever of the manual transaxle assembly to the reverse restrict pin assembly to secure it.
*1 Outer Select Lever *2 Reverse Restrict Pin Assembly *a Secured - Push the slider shaft until it contacts the cam wall.NOTE:
- Do not pull up the slider shaft.
- When adjusting the transmission control cable assembly, make sure that the shift lever is not in the 1st or 2nd gear position.
*a Slider Shaft *b Cam Wall - Connect the transmission control select cable to the floor shift lever assembly with the clip.
*a Transmission Control Select Cable *b Lock Piece NOTE:- Make sure that the lock piece is protruding from the adjuster case.
- When adjusting the transmission control cable assembly, make sure that the shift lever is not in the 1st or 2nd gear position.
- Push the lock piece into the adjuster case.NOTE:
Securely push in the lock piece until the lock is engaged.
- Move the shift lever to R, so that the outer select lever can be released.

- Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control select cable from the floor shift lever assembly.
- INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
