Inspection [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT REVERSE IDLER GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLYΒ
- Using a caliper gauge, inspect the reverse idler gear sub-assembly.
Standard Inside Diameter
25.056 to 25.074 mm (0.986 to 0.987 in.)
Maximum Inside Diameter
25.074 mm (0.987 in.)
If the inside diameter exceeds the maximum, replace the reverse idler gear sub-assembly.
- Using a micrometer, inspect the reverse idler gear shaft.
Standard Outer Diameter
24.984 to 25.000 mm (0.98362 to 0.98425 in.)
Minimum Outer Diameter
24.984 mm (0.98362 in.)
If the outer diameter is less than the minimum, replace the reverse idler gear shaft.
- Using a caliper gauge, inspect the reverse idler gear sub-assembly.
