On-Vehicle Inspection [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- INSPECT TRANSAXLE OIL
- Lift the vehicle.NOTE:
Set the vehicle on a lift so that the vehicle is kept level when it is lifted up.
- Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket from the manual transmission case.
*1 Manual Transmission Filler Plug - Check that the oil level is between 0 and 5 mm (0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.
*a 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) NOTE:An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.
- Check for oil leakage if the oil level is low.
- Install the manual transmission filler plug and a new gasket to the manual transmission case.
Torque: 39.2 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)
- Lift the vehicle.
