WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

PRECAUTION

1. NOTES WHEN CHECKING
a. Wireless door LOCK/UNLOCK function: This function operates only when the following 3 conditions are met.
1. No key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.
2. All the doors are closed.
3. The power door lock control system operates normally.

HINT:
- The UNLOCK function operates even when a door is open.
- The UNLOCK function operates even when the key is in the ignition key cylinder.
However, the ignition switch must be OFF.

b. Panic alarm function: This function operates only when the following condition is met.
1. The ignition switch is OFF.

HINT: The key can be inserted, but the ignition switch must be OFF.

c. The wireless transmitter operational area differs depending on the situation.
1. The operational area differs depending on the user and the ways the transmitter is held.
2. In certain areas, the operational area will be shortened due to the vehicle body shape and the influence of the surrounding environment.
3. The transmitter's faint electric waves may be affected if the area has strong electric waves or noise. The transmitter's operational area may be shortened or the transmitter may not function.
4. When the battery weakens, the operational area is reduced or the transmitter may not function.

HINT: If the door control transmitter has had prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, such as on the instrument panel, it may cause the battery to weaken or cause other such problems.
