Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the RH instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the right windshield pillar trim. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the metal bracket.
1 Body Control Module (BCM)
Tip: 
  • Depress the locking tab on the bracket and disconnect the electrical connectors to remove.
  • The replacement BCM must be programmed. Refer to Control Module References .
