Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  2. Remove the inner front wheel opening molding nut.
  3. Release the retainers from the wheelhouse.
  4. Release the front wheel opening molding from the front edge of the lower rocker panel molding.
  5. Remove the front wheel opening molding from the vehicle.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tip:  Loosen the rear bolt at the rear of the front bumper fascia securing the fender flange to the front bumper fascia.

Tighten:  4.0 N.m (35 lb in)
2 Front Fender Wheel Opening Molding Retainer (Qty: 6)
Tip:  Replace any broken retainers upon re-assembly.
