  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate window motor.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the control circuit terminal 6 and B+.
  3. Ignition ON, command the windows to Comfort Closing UP and DOWN with a scan tool. The test lamp should illuminate when commanding the UP and DOWN states.
    • If the test lamp is always OFF during either of the commands, test the control circuit for a short to voltage or open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear fuse block.
    • If the test lamp is always ON, test the control circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the rear fuse block.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the window motor.
